The song written by Paul McCartney in 1969. It begin in his difficult time around 1968. He was sensing the Beatles were breaking up because the problem they had. So Paul live in a mess situation and doing drugs, clubbing, drinking etc. He was exhausted. And one night he dream about her mother who died when he was only 14. In Paul's dream her mother appeared and there was her face, completely clear, particularly her eyes, and she said to him very gently, very reassuringly: “Let it be.” (From The Story behind Paul McCarney's song :"Let it be").
This song become one of the best songs from the Beatles. To me this song is so nice to listen since I was teenager and still my favourite until today. "Let it Be" in my interpretation is about "let go" to let the universe and the higher power do the best for me in diffilcult situation. I think it will be more relevant to say "let it be" that deliberates mind and allowing me to grasp a freedom to choice, opportunity and making a decision  in a diffiicult time than to say "Imagine". And I can say, "If imagine failed we could say "Let it Be" and there will be an answer."
